| Spartacus Books is a non-profit collective that has operated in downtown Vancouver for 20 years. The gap you see in beside this building is where Spartacus' former home once was - burnt down in either a popcorn blower or methamphetamine lab accident, depending on who you ask. The KSW has held most of its readings at Spartacus since 2006, after a nomadic year trying out various other options. Unfortunately, rumours are now circulating that the same landlord who forced KSW out of its Hamilton St. space is about to force Spartacus out as well.
