| This reading was one of the Vancouver launches for Bowering's selected lyric poems Changing on the Fly (Polestar 2004), which was nominated for the Griffin Prize that year. Bowering's reads poems mainly from Seventy-One Poems for People ( Red Deer Press, 1985), Do Sink (Pomflit, 1992), Blonds on Bikes. (Talonbooks, 1997), and His Life (ECW, 2000). It was also the launch of Markotic’s chapbook Widows and Orphans (Nomados 2004). |
