| This reading was delivered as the closing event in for the Robin Blaser conference: Recovery of the Public World”, held in Vancouver in 1995. Participants in the conference included: Anne Waldman, billy little, Charles Bernstein, Sharon Thesen, Michael Ondaatje, Lisa Robertson, Jerome Rothenberg, Phyllis Webb, Clayton Eshlemen, Deanna Ferguson, Nathaniel Mackey, Leslie Scalapino, George Bowering, Susan Howe, Steve McCaffery, Michael McClure, Peter Culley, Fred Wah, Daphne Marlatt. It was organised by Ted Byrne and Charles Watts, key KSW members, who also edited an anthology of some of the papers presented at the event, which was published by Talonbooks in 1998.
